Owners tried to revive it by turning it into a country music venue. But that didn’t work.

The Paramount is located in historic downtown Abilene on 352 Cypress Street. Parking is available on the street and in the public lot two blocks north of the theatre.
Abilene State Park
Abilene State park is located 529 acres southwest of Abilene in Texas. The park features a lake,fishing pond,swimming pool,trails and camping.
